Madalena do Mar has a 1.7km flat promenade along the beach, here you can find some good restaurant options within walking distance. In summer time, some restaurants offer the possibility to eat a local meal on the beach pebbles. 

Also, if you have the change of buying fresh fish directly to the neighbours, it is a local experience you will never forget. Enjoy it!
